What mixed stocklots are
Mixed stocklots are lots of general merchandise that come out of a single source, typically a warehouse that has to be emptied. Unlike a single-category lot, they combine different product groups. For off-price retailers, discount chains and exporters they are a way to buy a broad assortment of closeout merchandise in one transaction.
Each lot is described in a packing list so you know what you are buying before you confirm.
Origins of the excess inventory
Our consumer goods come from the same channels as our footwear and apparel lots. We buy them on our own account, with payment before handover, through our sister company we-buy-stock.com.
- Warehouse clearances by retailers, distributors and logistics providers
- Insolvency proceedings in which the administrator sells the inventory
- Overruns and cancelled orders
- Seasonal stock that has to make room for new ranges
Pallets to complete warehouse stocks
Lots start at around €10,000 and range up to several million euros. You can buy a single pallet or take over a complete warehouse stock. Lots are sold in full and goods are sold as described in the offer.
A single pallet suits buyers who want to test a product range or supply a smaller outlet. Complete warehouse stocks are better suited to wholesalers and exporters with their own logistics, who can collect several truckloads or containers ex works Germany.
Who buys mixed stocklots
Mixed stocklots of consumer goods are typically bought by discount and off-price retailers, wholesalers who supply market traders and smaller shops, exporters who consolidate goods for overseas markets, and online sellers who split pallets into individual listings. Buying a full lot at closeout price gives these buyers margin to work with across a broad assortment.
